Chung Faa Chinese Restaurant

Our shop is number six inside Ivory Terrace. If you know R C Dutt Road in Alkapuri, you have probably passed us many times. We are right across from the Collector House. It is a busy part of Vadodara, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we are here. We have been serving Chinese food for quite a while now. The kitchen is small but we make it work. Every morning the vegetables come in fresh from the market. We spend a lot of time chopping and getting the sauces ready. It is not fancy. The chairs are sturdy and the lights are bright enough to see what you are eating. We do not have a marketing team or anyone telling us what to say. We just cook and serve. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook for take-away orders. It gets a bit chaotic during the dinner rush, especially on weekends. We try to get the orders out fast, but sometimes there is a wait. People usually do not mind too much. We know most of our regulars by name. They like the way we do things here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but for now, they are fine. It is an honest living. We like being in Alkapuri. It has a good energy to it. Just a regular restaurant doing its thing every day. We just focus on the cooking and keeping the place clean for everyone.
