Chirag Trading Company

Down on Taboot Street in Nizampura, you’ll find us at C-273. Chirag Trading Company is where we manage our trade business. The street is always narrow and packed with people and carts, which makes getting goods in and out a bit of a challenge most mornings. Our space is mostly filled with cardboard boxes and wooden crates. We don't have a fancy reception area or a waiting room. If you come in, you'll probably have to step over some packing material or a roll of tape. I’ve been running things here for a while now. My morning starts with a walk down the street to get some breakfast and tea before the rush begins. The office is just a metal desk, a couple of chairs, and a very old ceiling fan that squeaks when it's on high. We deal with a lot of different suppliers from all over. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and a lot of checking lists. Nizampura has a lot of energy, and being on Taboot Street means you see everything that happens in the neighborhood. We don't do any big marketing or have a social media page for the company. We just work with the people we know and have built trust with over the years. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes everyone a bit slow, so we take a break for some cold water and a rest. It’s just a regular trading job. We handle the orders, we ship the goods, and we start over the next day.
