Call Center

We’re located just off VIP Road. It’s a pretty central spot, which makes it easy for the staff to get here, I guess. The place is exactly what you’d expect from a call center. There are rows of desks with computers and headsets everywhere. It’s rarely quiet in here because someone is always on the phone. We handle all sorts of calls, mostly helping people with their problems or answering questions about different services. It’s a busy environment. We work in shifts, so the office is almost always occupied, even late at night. The coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the whole building. We aren't some big fancy corporation with a lobby; it's just a workspace where people come to do their hours. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, but we manage somehow. We’ve got a mix of young people and some who have been here for years. It’s a job that keeps you on your toes. You never know who’s going to be on the other end of the line. We just focus on getting through the call list and making sure we record everything correctly in the system. It’s a lot of talking, listening, and typing all day long. Not much more to it than that, really. Just a regular workplace for us. We just call it the Call Center.
