Our office is located at Tulika Bungalow in the Atmaraj Society, over in Nizampura. It is a residential area in Baroda, so the office feels more like a home than a strict corporate building. We like it that way because it is comfortable and mostly quiet. We have been doing engineering work here for quite some time now. The bungalow has been converted to fit our desks and those big drawing boards we use. It is a bit cramped in some corners with all the old blueprints and paper files we have kept over the years. We are not the type to have a big glass entrance or a receptionist waiting at the front. Usually, if the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and opens the door to see who it is. Most of our day is spent looking at technical designs or talking to people about their engineering needs. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Nizampura is a nice part of Gujarat to be in. Everything we need is close by. Sometimes we have our meetings out in the small garden if the weather is nice enough. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything like that; it is just a group of us who know about engineering. We take our work seriously, but we do not feel the need to sound like a huge company. We are just local engineers doing our best.
