Bhulaka Bhavan Vidyalaya

Our school, Bhulaka Bhavan Vidyalaya, is located out on Madodhar Road in Vaghodia, right at Mangal Dham. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of Vadodara, but the area has its own charm. We have numbers 17 and 18 here, which gives us enough room for the classrooms and a small area for the kids to run around during their breaks. The building is painted a simple color and it’s been standing there for quite some time now. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; we just have a small desk near the front where people come when they have questions. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the gate opening and the school buses pulling in. We spend a lot of time cleaning up dust because the road gets pretty busy with trucks and cars going past. The teachers are mostly local people who have lived in this part of Gujarat for years. We know the parents and the shopkeepers nearby, so it feels like a little community of its own. Inside, the walls are covered with student work and some old maps. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it’s sturdy and it’s where we do our work every day. We just try to keep the lights on and the lessons moving forward without too much fuss or trouble. It is just a basic place for learning.
