Bhau KA Chicken

Started this place in Saibaba Society because Karelibaug needed something honest. We are right opposite Ambica Vidyalaya. It is a local spot. Not too big. My brother and I manage the counters. We started small, just a few pots and some charcoal. The chicken gets delivered early every morning. We clean it ourselves. People know us by name here. It is not like those big restaurants in the mall. We have a small seating area but most people just take the food home. Some kids from the school come by after their classes are over. It gets pretty loud around 7 pm. We do not have a fancy menu. Just what we know how to cook. The spice mixes are something we do in the back room. Sometimes we run out of stuff before the night ends. That is just how it goes. Karelibaug is a busy area in Vadodara and we fit right in. We have been here at number 15 for a while now. The neighbors are good people. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We do not spend money on ads. People just walk in. It is a simple life. We wash the floors every night and start again the next day. There is no big story here, just a lot of cooking and making sure the stove stays hot for whoever is hungry.
