We are tucked away in shop number 8 at the Karelibaug Citi Centre. It’s not the biggest unit in the building, but it fits everything we need for Bhagyoday Telecom. People usually stop by when they are already out doing their shopping or errands in the area. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the center over the years, shops coming and going, but we stayed put. Mostly, we deal with mobile recharges and fixing small issues with handheld devices. The air conditioning in the building helps during the summer months, which is nice because it gets really hot on the streets. I usually open up around ten and spend the first hour just organizing the shelves. We have a lot of chargers and cables hung up on the walls because everyone seems to lose theirs or break them. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. I know most of the people who work in the nearby shops too. We often grab lunch from the same food stalls in the afternoon. It’s a pretty quiet spot for the most part, except on weekends when the families come through. I try to keep things straightforward and don't spend much on flashy decorations or expensive signs. If someone needs a new screen or just has a question about their phone bill, they know where to find us. We just do our work and go home, simple as that. The shop keeps us busy enough.
