Our office is located at B-12 in the Tulsidham Apartments, right on the Manjalpur Dabhoi Road. It’s an interesting spot because we’re right opposite the Polo Ground, so we get a decent view of the open space when we look out the window. Working from an apartment building gives the place a bit of a homey feel, though it’s definitely a full-time workspace for us. We deal with various solutions for our clients, which means a lot of computer work and sitting at desks that we’ve squeezed into the rooms. The Dabhoi Road can get quite loud with all the scooters and cars, but the Tulsidham complex itself feels a bit more shielded. We have a small kitchen area where we make way too much tea during the day. Sometimes we walk over to the Polo Ground just to stretch our legs and get away from the screens for a few minutes. The apartment has those typical tiled floors that stay cold under your feet. It’s not a big corporate headquarters, just a group of us working out of a converted residential space. We keep the files in the cupboards and use the dining area for our main meetings. It’s a practical way to run things without all the overhead of a fancy office building. We’ve been here long enough that the guards at the gate know us all by name.
