Our branch is located at A-2 in Fertilizer Park, which is in the Nizampura area of Baroda. This part of the city is quite busy because of all the industry nearby. The office itself is a simple building where we do all the daily banking tasks. We have some desks for the staff and a counter where we talk to people. It’s not a very modern place with lots of glass and chrome. It’s just a regular office with paper files and computers. Nizampura has a lot of traffic, especially during the rush hours, so we see a lot of people coming in and out all day. We have come to know many of the locals by name, which makes the work feel more personal. We don’t have any big mission statements or fancy goals written on the walls. We just show up and make sure the accounts are right and the cash is handled properly. The weather in Baroda is often very hot, so we keep the fans or the air conditioning going so we don't melt. Sometimes the work can be a bit repetitive, but it’s important. We have a small team here and we all help each other out when it gets busy. It’s a straightforward job and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. We are just a local group of people doing our best in this part of town for the community.
