Bajaj Capital Insurance Broking Ltd.

We are located in the old part of Baroda at Durga-Nivas in Brahma Puri. It’s right in the Dandia Bazar area which is always full of people and shops. Bajaj Capital Insurance Broking Ltd. is the name on the door but to most people around here we are just the insurance office. The building is an old style house that was converted. It has narrow stairs and rooms that aren't perfectly square. We spend a lot of our time looking at insurance forms and explaining things to people who walk in off the street. Dandia Bazar is a very traditional part of the city so we get a lot of locals who prefer to talk face to face. We don't have any flashy signs or modern glass walls. Just some wooden desks and chairs that have been here for a long time. The work is mostly about numbers and making sure the signatures are in the right places. It gets noisy outside with the traffic and the vendors but we are used to it by now. The chai wallah knows our order and comes by every afternoon without us having to call him. We don't try to sound like a big bank or anything. We are just here to help with the broking work and make sure the papers get sent to the right offices. Most of us have lived in Baroda our whole lives so we know the neighborhood well. It’s a simple business life here in Brahma Puri.
