Babasai Bakers

We are located out in the G.I.D.C. area of Waghodia, specifically at Plot No. 945. Being in an industrial estate means our day starts way before the sun comes up. While most people are sleeping, we are getting the ovens ready and mixing the dough. The smell of baking bread fills the whole street by 5 AM. It’s a practical setup here, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have the mixing area on one side and the packing station on the other. Our staff comes from the nearby villages, and they’ve been with us for years, so they know the routine by heart. We don’t have a fancy storefront where you can browse cakes; it’s more about getting the batches out to the distributors on time. Sometimes the machines act up or the flour shipment is late, and those days are a real headache. But mostly, we just stick to the schedule. The floors are always covered in a bit of flour, no matter how much we sweep. It’s hot near the ovens, especially during the summer months in Gujarat, but we keep the water coolers filled. We aren't trying to reinvent baking; we just make sure there is fresh stock ready every morning for the trucks to pick up. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
