Avadh Engineering Pvt. Limited is situated over on Padra Road. We’re right behind Apex Electricals Ltd, at S.No. 485. It’s not the easiest place to spot if you’re driving fast, but we’ve been here quite a while now. The workshop isn’t anything fancy to look at. It’s mostly just big machines and a lot of metal scraps everywhere. We have a small crew of guys who know their way around an engine and a lathe. It gets pretty loud once the work starts in the morning. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks up the line. We do general engineering work for people in the area and some bigger clients too. Most of our business comes from folks just knowing we’re here. We like to keep things simple. If you have a part that needs fixing or something that needs making, we just look at the specs and get to it. Sometimes we run into problems with the older machines, but we always figure it out. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a bit dusty and the floor is always oily, but that’s just the nature of what we do. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just a reliable place where the work gets done correctly.
