Aum Communications

You can find Aum Communications over in the SBM Colony area, specifically at number 519 on the 9th Cross in Raopura Hithashri. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you aren’t from this side of town, but the neighborhood is pretty quiet compared to the main roads. We like being tucked away on the 9th Cross because it feels more like a community. The building at 519 is an older one, and our shop takes up just a small corner of it. When we arrive in the morning, the first thing we do is check the mail and get the kettle going. Raopura Hithashri has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over time. At Aum Communications, we don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a counter, some stools, and the equipment we use every day. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who live in SBM Colony. They come in for all sorts of things, not just phone repairs. Sometimes they just want to know how the day is going. We’ve got stacks of old boxes and spare parts tucked into every corner of the shop. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where every single screw and wire is located. Number 519 is where we do our work, day in and day out. It’s a steady life here on the 9th Cross for us.
