Out here in Padra, specifically in the Jayant Park area on Vatva Road, we’ve got our little setup at number 9. It’s in Bhadwat Nagar, and it’s a nice enough place to be based. We do a lot of information technology work, which basically means we spend our days staring at monitors and typing away. The office is small and tucked away, which suits our style just fine. A few desks and some shelving for our manuals and spare parts are all we really need. It’s not a fancy glass-walled office like you see on television. It feels more like a workshop where things actually get built. We started Atmiya Infotech because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to the neighborhood. The commute is very short, which is definitely the best part. We see the same faces every morning when walking to the shop. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait around like everyone else, but mostly we’re just grinding away on whatever project is on the desk. Big words aren't used here to sound important. If you need help with a computer or some tech stuff, we just explain it simply. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We like the local vibe of Vatva Road. We’re not looking to become a giant company. We just want to do good work for the people who need us.
