Ashapura Mobiles

Ashapura Mobiles has its home on Makarpura 1st Main Road, over in the Anekal 14 area. We’ve been operating from this same building for several years. It’s a fairly straightforward setup inside. We have rows of phone covers on the walls and a few display units for the handsets. The 1st Main Road is always noisy with traffic, but it brings people right to our door. We don't have any corporate training or polished speeches. If someone asks a question, we just give them a straight answer based on what we know. Often, the shop gets crowded around five in the evening when people are heading home from work. We have one old bench for people to sit on if they have to wait for a repair. The floor is made of grey tiles that show every bit of dust, so we are always sweeping. It’s a never-ending task. We keep a stash of spare parts in some old plastic bins under the counter. It might look like a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where the specific screens and batteries are kept. Anekal 14 is a decent place to have a business. The other shop owners nearby are friendly, and we often share a tea in the afternoon. We don't have any big mission. We just open the shop in the morning, do the best we can with the repairs, and close up when it's dark.
