Anokha Moorti Bhandar

Anokha Moorti Bhandar is our little shop located in Madanzampa. We are very close to Azad Maidan, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. We mostly deal with statues and various items for people's homes and temples. It is a family thing, really. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. The shop is filled with different figures, some small and some quite large. It gets a bit crowded in here sometimes because we have so much stock on the shelves and on the floor. People from all over the neighborhood come in to look around. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to walk in and take a look. We spend our days dusting the items and talking to customers who come in. Madanzampa is a great area because it feels like a real community. Being near Azad Maidan means there is always something happening outside, like sports or local gatherings. We just keep the doors open and wait for people to stop by. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to provide things that people like for their altars or as gifts. The work is steady and it’s nice to see familiar faces coming back year after year. It's a simple business but it's ours and we like being here. We hope to stay in this spot for many more years to come.
