Anmol Telecom

Being located on Raj Mahel Road in the Binny Mill Layout means there is always noise from the traffic passing by outside. Anmol Telecom is a small setup, mostly just a couple of glass counters and a workbench in the back where I keep all the tiny screwdrivers and spare parts. Most of my day is spent looking through a magnifying glass at circuit boards or trying to explain to someone why their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. It is a lot of sitting down, so I try to stand up and walk to the door whenever the street gets a bit quieter. The walls are lined with various charging cables and phone covers that tend to get a bit dusty if I do not wipe them down every couple of days. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they wait for a quick recharge or a screen protector to be put on. The overhead light flickers sometimes, which is annoying when you are trying to do steady work, but it is part of the shop's character I suppose. I usually eat my lunch right at the desk between customers, keeping an eye on the door. It isn't a glamorous job, but fixing things that people rely on every day keeps me busy enough from morning until we close up at night. The Binny Mill area has changed a lot, but this little corner stays pretty much the same.
