Anmol Cards & Gifts

Anmol Cards & Gifts is right across from the Maharashtra Lodge. We’re in Mrudula Sadan. Raopura is always moving, so there is always someone walking by the window looking at what we have. We mostly have cards and various gift items that people need for weddings or birthdays. It’s been our daily routine for a long time now. We open up, set out the displays, and wait for the morning rush to settle. The building we are in has some character to it. It’s not like those new malls you see popping up everywhere. We prefer it this way. It feels more like home. Some of our customers have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where to look for what they need. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations inside. We’d rather just have the stock ready and available. Sometimes we run out of space because we get too much new stuff in at once. You might have to squeeze past a few boxes or a stack of new cards. That’s just life in a small shop. Raopura can be a bit chaotic with all the traffic and the noise, but we like the energy. Being opposite the lodge means we see a lot of travelers too. They usually want something small to take back with them or a card to send home. We just do our best to help them find something that fits. It’s a simple business, really. No need to make it sound more than it is.
