The office is right here in Baroda, and most days we are just handling the paperwork that comes with air travel and transport. It isn’t a very big setup, but we keep busy. People often ask what we do exactly. Basically, we deal with the standards and the boring back-end stuff that keeps planes moving and cargo getting to where it needs to go. We’ve been at this address in 390001 for a while now. The staff here knows the local area well. We spend a lot of time on the phone or at our desks. It’s mostly about making sure the rules for flying and shipping are followed correctly so there are no delays. Some days are slow, and other days the phones don't stop ringing. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few desks, computers, and files. We deal with various airlines and agents who need help with their ticketing or cargo issues. It’s practical work. We try to be helpful when someone walks in with a question about their travel certifications. Most of the time, it’s just us working through the daily logs. We are part of a much bigger network, obviously, but here in Gujarat, we just run our small corner of it. It’s honest work and we have been in this community long enough to know many of the faces who come through our door.
