Amul Net

Our place is at Asoj, specifically Shop No-6 inside the Amivision Complex. We’re right near the Vimalnath Complex, so we’re easy enough to find if you’re in the neighborhood looking for help. Amul Net started out because people needed a reliable place to get online or fix their internet connections at home. We have a row of computers set up, though some of the chairs squeak a bit when you sit in them for too long. It's usually quiet, except for the hum of the cooling fans and the occasional printer noise when someone needs a document. We handle things like bill payments, helping people with online forms, and selling basic computer accessories like cables or headphones. The walls are a bit bare, but we’ve got what we need to get the job done properly. Often, students come in to work on projects because it’s a bit more focused here than at home with their families. We try to keep the keyboards clean, though it’s a constant battle with the dust that comes in from the street. It isn't a high-tech hub, just a local shop providing a service that folks around here find useful every day. We open early and stay until the last person finishes their work for the night. Being in the Amivision Complex means we see a lot of the same faces every day, and we've gotten to know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well over time.
