Akshar Communication

Akshar Communication is tucked away in Shantinagar Society, over in Nizampura at D-81. We aren't on a main commercial road, so it’s a bit quieter here than some other shops. We mostly deal with mobile recharges, new SIM cards, and some basic phone accessories. My brother and I run the place together. We have a small counter and some glass shelves where we put out the latest budget phones and some second-hand models we’ve taken in. A lot of our customers are just people from the society who need help with their data plans or want a new screen guard put on. We spend a lot of time explaining how different phone features work to the older folks who live nearby. The shop is small and we have a bench outside where people can sit and chat while they wait. We keep a small television on in the corner to pass the time when it's slow. Sometimes the internet connection for our recharge system goes down, and we just have to wait for it to come back. We don't have a big sign or bright lights. It’s just a simple local shop for the people in Shantinagar. We know most of the families around here and we’ve been at this spot for several years now. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the neighborhood. We usually close up around nine in the evening.
