Our shop, Karma Art, is located in Building No. 6 of the Parshwanath Society in Akota. It’s tucked away a bit, behind the Akota Atithi Gruh and right next to Kailashpark Society. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s quieter than the main roads. We work on various art-related things here. The space is often cluttered with frames, canvases, or whatever we are currently putting together. It’s not a sterile gallery; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and the locals know us pretty well. Sometimes we have stuff leaning against the walls and it looks a bit messy, but there’s a system to it. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who enjoy what we do. People drop by with things they want framed or sometimes just to see what we're working on. We try to be helpful and give honest advice about what might look good. The lighting inside isn't always perfect, but we make it work. It’s a nice place to spend the day, and being in Akota is convenient for a lot of our customers. We aren't looking to become some huge chain. We just like being the local art spot where people can come in and talk to us directly without any fuss. It's been a good journey so far in this building.
