Our office is over in Chacha Nehru Nagar, which is right by Sayajipark on Ajwa Road. It’s a pretty busy part of Baroda. We deal with a lot of people every day who are looking to go somewhere. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing, especially in the afternoons. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The building is number 681, it’s not hard to find if you know the area. We handle all sorts of travel things, mostly bookings and papers. It’s a bit cramped inside when more than three people show up at once. There's a tea stall just around the corner where we usually go when things get too loud or the heat gets to us. The traffic on Ajwa Road is always a mess, so we hear the horns all day long. It's just a normal workplace, nothing special to look at. We have a few maps on the walls and some old calendars. People come in asking about flights or trains, and we just do our best to find what’s available. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around. That's just how it goes here. Most of us have lived in Baroda our whole lives, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the main road jams when we go home.
