Aashirwad Travels

Aashirwad Travels is located right at Makarpura 1. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here for a good while. We started this because we knew the area well and saw people always looking for a reliable way to get around without it costing too much. The office isn't much to look at, just a small room with some posters of mountains and beaches on the walls that have been there for years and started to fade. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people about where they want to go and when they need to be there. Sometimes we have to tell them the car is running late because the road work near the junction is a complete mess. That’s just life in Makarpura, I guess. We try to be honest about the times and the prices we charge. We have a few drivers who have been with us since the beginning, so we trust them to take care of the passengers and the cars. It’s not a glamorous job, checking oil levels and making sure the tires are okay for a long trip, but someone has to do it. We don't have a big corporate ladder or anything like that. It’s just a family-run thing where we all pitch in when things get busy. If the phone rings late at night, someone usually picks it up from home. We just want to make sure people reach their destination safely or get home after a long trip.
