Aashi Communication

Aashi Communication is situated in Mani Majra, specifically around the 17/18 section in Chandigarh. This part of the city is always moving and we are just one of many small businesses trying to keep things going. Our shop is quite narrow, with enough room for a few people to stand at the counter at once. We handle a lot of mobile phone connections and simple repairs. The walls are covered with posters for different network plans that we keep updated by hand. Usually, the radio is playing softly in the background to pass the time during the slower afternoon hours. It can get quite hot in Chandigarh during the summer months, so we have a ceiling fan that hums loudly all day. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns being at the shop. We keep our tools and spare parts in small plastic drawers behind the desk. Sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what is needed for a specific phone model. We have been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. People stop in to ask for directions almost as much as they do for phone help. It is a busy little corner but we like it that way. We just keep things running as best as we can every day, without making any big fuss about it.
