Aarti Gift Shop

If you go down Dharmaram College Road toward the Sai Baba temples, you'll find us on the 2nd Cross. We are right there on the 3rd Main. Aarti Gift Shop has been in Raopura for a good while now. Being near the temples means we get a lot of people who are out for their morning or evening prayers. It’s a peaceful spot, relatively speaking, compared to the main roads. We keep a lot of items that might appeal to that crowd, but we have general gifts too for all sorts of occasions. The shop is small and can get a bit warm in the afternoons during the summer. We have a fan going most of the time to keep the air moving. We don't have a lot of fancy lighting or high-end displays. We just put things where they fit on the wooden shelves. Sometimes we forget to change the window display for a month or two because we are busy with other things. It happens. We’re more focused on the people who come in. We know many of them by name now and their families too. It’s nice to have those local connections. Raopura is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that daily life. We aren't trying to change the world or be the biggest shop. We just want to provide a place where you can pick up a nice item without any fuss. It’s a quiet life for the most part.
