Aaaka Plastics

You can find Aaaka Plastics at B-11/51 in the Krishna Industrial Estate, which is right across from the BIDC in Gorwa. It’s a typical industrial spot with lots of small units packed together. Inside our place, we have several machines for plastic molding and processing. It stays pretty warm because the machines run most of the day and night. There is always a rhythmic thumping sound when everything is working. We make a variety of plastic items that people use every day, though they might not think about where they come from. The floor is usually covered in little plastic pellets if someone hasn't swept in an hour. We have a small crew of workers who know the machines inside out. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves instead of waiting for a technician. Gorwa is a busy area, so getting trucks in for loading can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We eat our lunch together in a small corner away from the dust. We’ve been at this location for years and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines are what matters. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out. It’s not a fancy business, just a lot of hard work with plastic. We don't do much advertising because most of our work comes from people who have known us for years.
