A India Designes Mall

If you are looking for us, we are tucked away behind the Satellite area, right near the Jockey showroom. It’s a spot that people sometimes miss if they aren't looking carefully. A India Designes Mall isn't a giant shopping center like the ones in the middle of the city, but we have our own way of doing things. The hallway leading back to our section can be a bit dim in the evenings. We spend a lot of time rearranging the displays. It seems like as soon as we get everything looking right, we have to move it all again for a new arrival. The floor is tiled and it gets really cold in the winter months. We usually keep a small heater under the main counter. Most of the people who walk in are locals who know the area well. We don't have any loud music playing or big flashing lights. It’s mostly just the sound of the hangers sliding on the racks and the occasional conversation. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused about the entrance since we are behind the main road. We end up going out to wave them in. It's a steady routine of unpacking boxes and tagging items. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The back room is full of spare hangers and empty boxes that we haven't had time to break down yet. It's just how we work.
