You can find us at House No. 1, right by the Mandi Ground in Khategaon. It’s a busy spot, especially when the market is open. We started Vikash Krushak Seva Producer Company Limited because being near the mandi, we saw how things worked and thought we should organize ourselves better. It’s just us farmers trying to navigate the system. The house is always a bit chaotic with people coming and going, asking questions or bringing in their paperwork. We don't have fancy uniforms or a lobby. It’s just a room where we handle the business. Khategaon is a good place for this because everything happens right here at the ground. We deal with all sorts of crops and the problems that come with them, like pests or bad seeds. We try to help each other out with advice and sometimes we buy things in bulk to save a little money. It’s a practical way to live. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the farming stays profitable enough to keep the lights on. Sometimes we stay late working on the accounts, and other times we are out before the sun is even up. It’s just the way life is for us here. We keep it simple and keep moving forward. It is not always easy to keep things organized, but we do our best for the community.
