Ramdev Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Ramdev Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located over at the Ramdev Sugar Pvt Ltd place in Thaini, Bankhedi. Since we are so close to the sugar mill, it makes sense for us to be based there. Most of us have been around the sugar business for a long time. Bankhedi is our home and we wanted to create something that actually belongs to the local farmers. It’s not always smooth sailing running a company like this. There are a lot of rules to follow and sometimes the paperwork gets confusing. But we have a good group of people who aren't afraid of hard work. We spend a lot of time at the Thaini location just making sure everything is moving. It’s a practical setup. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to look bigger than we are. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair shake. When harvest time comes, it gets really busy around here and we are all hands on deck. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall, we just have the work that needs doing. It’s a simple business for people who work the land and know it well. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay as long as the crops are growing. It is a lot of effort but we enjoy it.
