You can find Nityauday Farmer Producer Company Limited over at the Pt Dindayal Upadhyay Shopping Complex in Nanakheda. We are on the first floor in unit B-112. It’s a bit different for a farmer group to be in a shopping complex, but it’s a good place for us to meet and handle the business side of things. We are a group of producers who wanted to get organized. Nanakheda is a busy area, so it’s easy for members to reach us when they come into town for supplies. We spend a lot of time talking about the crops and how we can get them to market without losing too much money. Being a farmer is a lot of physical labor, but the office work is necessary too. We handle the registrations and the sales stuff from the first-floor office. It’s usually just a couple of us there surrounded by files and ledgers. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy speeches. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group are getting a fair shake. The complex is usually crowded, but once you get up to B-112, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve been working together for some time now, and this company is how we keep everything official.
