We are just a group of farmers here in Ujjain, right by the Indore Road near Triveni Hills. It is not a big fancy office or anything, just a place where we get together to figure out how to keep the farms running. Kisan Kalyan Farmer Producer Companylimited was started because doing everything on your own is getting harder every year. The costs of stuff go up and the weather does not always help us out. We spent a lot of time talking under the trees before we actually made this official. Now we sit at 55 North Part and try to coordinate things better for the group. It is mostly about getting our crops to the right people without losing too much money to the people in the middle. We deal with the soil and the seeds every day, so we know what is happening on the ground. Sometimes it is a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once, but that is just how it is in a small town. We are not trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the families here can keep farming without so much stress. If you come by the hills, you will see where we work. It is a quiet spot but we stay busy. There is always someone coming by to ask about the market prices or how to handle a pest problem. We just do our bit.
