Khachrod Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out in Gram-Navtiya, right in the Khachrod area. If you know the village, you know it's all about the fields around here. We started this because doing everything alone as a single farmer is just too much. Now, a bunch of us get together to handle the produce. It’s more of a community thing than a big business. We sit around, look at the market prices, and try to decide when to move the grain. The roads can be a bit rough getting into the village, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get a better price for the wheat and soy we grow. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and that’s all we talk about for weeks. Our setup is pretty basic, just a room where we keep the records and meet up after the day's work is finished. It’s quiet out here, which is nice. We know everyone by name, and if someone’s tractor breaks down, we usually know about that too. It’s just how life is in Navtiya. We’re just local farmers trying to make the work a bit easier for each other by sticking together. We don't have any fancy secretaries or polished floors. It’s just wooden tables, a few chairs, and a lot of talk about soil health and seed costs. It's slow work sometimes, but it's ours. We keep an eye on the local weather reports and hope for the best each season. We’re just regular folks in Khachrod doing what we know best.
