Pratham Inn & Resorts

If you drive out toward Udupi, you will find us in Kundavar Village. Pratham Inn & Resorts is located in Balkur, right across from the municipal water supply tank. It is a bit of a landmark for people trying to find the place. We are in the 576211 area, and it is a lot quieter out here than in the middle of town. We also have people coming in from Mangalore since it isn't too far of a trip. The grounds are open and there is plenty of space to walk around. We have a lot of grass and trees, so there is always some yard work to be done. The rooms are spread out and they are simple enough for a family stay. We don't have any of those fancy automated systems; we just use real keys and talk to people when they arrive. The water tank is big and grey, so you can't miss it when you are on the road. We spend our time making sure the garden looks decent and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up next. It is a peaceful spot in Balkur where you can hear the birds in the morning. We just keep things running as best as we can every day of the week, even when it gets humid.
