Shivadarshan Hotel

We are located on the Main Road in Kundapura West, right in the Udupi area. Living and working here means we are right in the thick of things in town. The hotel is easy to find because it sits right on the main stretch where everyone walks and drives. It’s not a five-star place with carpets and valets, just a straightforward hotel for people who need a room or a meal while they are in Kundapura. We get a lot of travelers passing through Udupi and locals who just want to sit down for a bit. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age in some spots, but we keep it tidy. Running a place on the Main Road means it’s never really quiet. You can hear the buses and the motorbikes all day long. We started this because we wanted to have a place that felt like home for people visiting. My staff and I are usually around the front desk or the kitchen area. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place to stay and eat. It’s hard work, especially during the busy season when the town is full of people. But we like it here. It’s our way of making a living in our own town and meeting people from all over.
