Hotel Kushi

Hotel Kushi is situated in the New Udupi area of Santhekatte. We are quite close to the Robo Soft technology building, so we get a lot of people who work in tech or are visiting that office. Udupi 576105 is a nice enough place. It is not as crowded as some big cities but it’s growing fast. We started this hotel to give people a place to stay that wasn't too expensive or complicated. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the usual rooms and a small area where you can get something to eat. Being in Santhekatte means we are a bit away from the main temple area. It is quieter here, which some people like. My wife helps with the accounts and I do most of the maintenance work myself. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big team of waiters or bellboys. Sometimes we might be out back fixing something when a guest arrives. They have to wait a minute, but we always get to them eventually. We like being near the tech park because it brings in a steady crowd. The building is simple and painted a plain color. We keep the plants outside watered when we remember to do it. It’s just a normal Udupi hotel, doing our best to provide a decent room. There is nothing more to it than that.
