Triveni Hotel

Triveni Hotel is located in Santhekatte, which is a busy part of Udupi. We are quite close to the Head Post Office, so there is always a lot of foot traffic nearby. In this part of the world, people take their food seriously, especially breakfast. We open up early because the workers and the folks heading to the post office need their coffee and snacks before the day really starts. The building itself is simple and hasn't changed much over the years. We have the usual benches and tables where people sit down, eat quickly, and move on with their business. It’s not the kind of place where you spend three hours over a meal. It’s about getting good, hot food served fast. We see the same faces every morning, which is nice. You get to know what people want before they even say it. The kitchen is small but we keep it clean and organized. Sometimes when the market nearby is in full swing, the whole area gets very crowded and noisy, but inside the hotel, things just keep moving along. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy signs. People find us because they know where we are and they know what to expect. It’s just a local hotel in Santhekatte doing what it has always done for the community here in Udupi. We just keep the coffee hot.
