We are located way out in Udupi, specifically at Survey No.400/1 in Golihole village. Our office is Gala No. 1 at Golihole Murkai. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here to Byndoor Taluk, but that’s where we are. Pragnya Sagar Hotels and Resorts Private Limited is a local operation deeply rooted in this part of Karnataka. Life in Golihole is much quieter than in the bigger cities. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the land and the local environment. It’s a very rural setting, so we have to be quite self-sufficient. If something breaks, we usually have to figure out how to fix it ourselves. We don't have a big corporate office; it's just a simple room where we keep our records and plan our work. The monsoon season here is really something, with heavy rain that changes everything for a few months. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the village well. Most people around here know us too. We aren't doing anything complicated, just trying to run our hotels and resorts while staying connected to the local community. It’s hard work sometimes, especially with the distance from the main supply centers, but we manage. We like the pace of life here. It’s honest work in a place that feels like home. Just a small business in a small village.
