Udaipur Bags

You can find us at 91, Bapu Bazar. It’s a busy street, as anyone who lives here knows. We’ve got bags hanging from the ceiling and stacked on the floor most days. It gets a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in, but we manage. Most of the people who stop by are looking for something sturdy for work or school. We don’t have a big fancy website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for folks to walk in. Bapu Bazar is always loud, but you get used to it after a few years. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything back from the entrance. It’s just the two of us working here most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when people are pulling things out to look at them. The floor is concrete and shows its age, but it holds up fine. We’ve seen a lot of shops come and go on this block, but we’re still here. It’s a living. We just sell bags and talk to the neighbors. There’s no secret to it. If you need a bag, we are at number 91. That’s about all there is to say. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the doors open. We've been here for a long time.
