Classic Collection

At 52 Hathipole, Classic Collection is basically where we spend most of our time. It’s a small place but it fits everything we need to show people. Usually, the day starts with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street. Hathipole is always active so there’s no shortage of things to see out the window. We try to keep things looking decent on the hangers but it’s hard when people are moving things around all day. It’s just how it goes in a shop like this. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific size or color, we usually have to dig through a few boxes in the back to find it. The lighting isn't always the brightest but you can see the colors well enough. We’ve had this spot for some time and the locals know us. It’s not about being the biggest shop around, we just like having a place where people can stop in while they are doing their other shopping. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet just to catch a breeze. It’s a practical little business and we just take things one day at a time. The shelves are mostly full and we try to keep the newer items near the front so they are easy to spot.
