Novelty Bags

We are upstairs at 29 1St Floor Bapu Bazar. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, which is a bit of a climb but not too bad. From our window, we can look out over the street and see everyone walking by below. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. You'll find all sorts of bags here, from small purses to larger luggage pieces. It stays a little quieter up here than it is down on the main sidewalk. We spend a lot of time just shifting boxes around and making sure things aren't getting too dusty. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a little when it pours, so we have to watch out for that. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most of our customers are locals who know where we are. We don't do any big advertising at all. If someone needs a bag, they usually just find us by word of mouth or seeing the sign outside. It’s a honest way to make a living. The stairs can be a pain when we have to carry heavy boxes up, but it keeps us moving. Opening is around ten and we stay until the market starts to quiet down. It’s a good enough place to spend the day. Nothing too fancy, just a regular shop on the first floor. We have bags for school and even some for fancy occasions too.
