Prabakar Seeds

The shop is right there on the ground floor of Commerce House. It’s a busy spot on Town Hall Road, especially in the mornings when things are just getting started and everyone is opening up. We spend most of our time at Udaipuria Jagir dealing with the day-to-day stuff that comes with seeds. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the sacks and the traffic moving outside, but that is just how it is. People come in from all over the area looking for things to plant in their fields or gardens. Sometimes the ceiling fans aren't enough when the sun is hitting the front window in the afternoon, but we manage. Most days are about checking the inventory and talking to whoever walks through the door. It isn't a fancy place by any means. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. My desk is usually covered in papers and small samples that I need to sort through. The neighborhood is loud, with the sound of bikes and people shouting near the town hall. It’s been this way for a while now. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well. We grab tea from the stall nearby twice a day. There is no big corporate plan or anything like that here. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work until it’s time to head home.
