Shivarpan Agro Producer Company Limited

Shivarpan Agro Producer Company Limited is located out at the New Krishi Mandi in Hiran Magri Sector 11. It sounds like a big name, but it is really just about the farming life here. We are right in the heart of the Mandi where the tractors come in early every morning. There is always a lot of shouting and haggling going on outside. Inside our space, things are a bit more organized, but not by much. We deal with a lot of seeds and agricultural stuff that the farmers need. There are always bags of fertilizer stacked up in the back and the smell is quite strong. You get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time talking to the men who come in from the villages. They have many questions about the weather and the crops. We sit on plastic chairs around a small table and drink tea while we look at papers. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dirt because of all the boots walking in and out. It is a practical place. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a list of prices written on a piece of cardboard. It is hard work being part of the Mandi, but it is what we do every day. We close up when the sun goes down and the market gets quiet.
