Nageshwary Seeds Company

If you head over to Loha Bazar and look for the Gulab Bohra Building at number 69, that is where you will find Nageshwary Seeds Company. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. The building is old and has that specific smell of grain and earth that you get with seeds. We spend a lot of our time sorting through bags and talking to people who come in from the farms or smaller shops nearby. It gets very busy when the planting season is about to start, and then it gets a bit quieter after that. We carry all sorts of seeds for different crops, and the bags are usually stacked up pretty high against the walls. It isn’t a very modern setup, just some sturdy shelves and a lot of record keeping in big notebooks. Sometimes the dust from the seeds makes you sneeze, but you get used to it after a few years. We see a lot of the same faces every year, people who have been buying from us since we first opened up in this part of Loha Bazar. We don’t do any fancy advertising, word just travels around the market. It’s a simple business. We open early in the morning when the market starts to wake up and we stay until the last of the loading is done. It is just us and the seeds, trying to make sure people get what they need.
