We operate out of Bhadbhuja Ghati over in Kamla Nehru Nagar. It is a bit of a climb to get up here sometimes. We deal with a lot of agricultural stuff, mostly working with the local farmers and the produce they bring in. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and weather and how the crops are doing this year. It's a lot of back and forth with different people. Sometimes the trucks can't make it up the narrow roads and we have to figure out another way to move the bags around. We aren't some big corporate office with fancy suits. Most of us have dirt on our boots and we like it that way. The fans in the ceiling hum all day and it gets pretty stuffy when the monsoon rains start. We just try to keep things organized so the growers get a fair shake. It is a lot of long hours, especially during the harvest months when everyone is stressed out. The local farmers usually bring us news from the outlying villages, so we stay pretty informed about everything happening in the district. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done. There is always something breaking or needing to be sorted out. We don't spend much money on advertising because the word gets around the market fast enough. It’s honest work and it keeps the local economy moving.
