Bhagya Shree Emporium

You can find Bhagya Shree Emporium at 93 Bhatiyani Chohata Main Road. Being on the main road means we see just about everyone who passes through this part of town. It is a very busy street, especially during the festival seasons or when there are weddings. We have a lot of items packed into the shop. Sometimes I look around and wonder how we fit it all in there. It is a bit of a puzzle every time a new shipment arrives. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, so we have to use a shaky old ladder to reach the stuff at the top. I have lived in Udaipur my whole life, and this shop has been a big part of it. We do not really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people walking in from the street. The floor is made of old stone and it has seen a lot of feet over the years. We try to keep things looking okay, but it is a working shop, not a museum. There is always a bit of clutter behind the counter. My brother usually helps me with the heavy lifting and the customers. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep our energy up. It is a loud, busy place but it is our place, and we are happy enough with how things are going.
