Avi International

Avi International is located just outside Surajpole. We are right near the Champalal Dharmshala, which is a very busy part of the city. There’s always people moving around, pilgrims staying nearby, and rickshaws honking their horns. Our office is tucked in there among the other shops. We deal with trade and shipping, so there’s always a lot of paperwork on the desks. It’s a small space, mostly filled with files and some samples of things we move. The heat in this part of town can be quite something during May. We usually have the door halfway open to let some air in, even if it brings in the noise. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it feels alive. We’ve known the guys at the Dharmshala for a long time. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from the vendors on the street. It’s practical for us to be here because it’s central. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists. It’s just the daily grind of moving goods from one place to another. Every evening, we lock up and head home through the crowded market. It’s just how things work in this part of the world. No big stories, just the usual work day.
