Arunodaya Arts & Crafts

We are located out on N.H. 8 in Bhuwana, right near the Jain Temple. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people coming through. Our shop is full of various arts and crafts, mostly things made by local hands in the nearby villages. It’s a pretty big space because some of the wooden furniture and carvings take up a lot of room. We don't have a fancy showroom with carpets or polished floors. It’s more like a big storage space where you can browse through the rows of items. My cousin and I run the place ourselves. We spend our mornings moving stock around and checking for any damage. The road noise is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a big corporate entity with a board of directors. It’s just a family business that’s been here for years. We don't have a mission statement or any of that talk. We just want to sell the crafts and keep the shop going. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we have to move things quickly. We don't do much in the way of promotion. If people like what they see through the window as they drive by, they stop. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just keeping busy with the daily work.
