Apollo Arts & Crafts

Our place is at 28 Panchwati. It’s a quiet enough area but we stay pretty busy with all the different things we have going on. We work with our hands mostly. There are always bits of material laying around, whether it is wood or fabric or whatever we are using that day. We called it Apollo Arts & Crafts because it sounded right, but really, it is just a workshop where things get made. We don't have a showroom that looks like a museum. It is more of a workspace where things are actually happening. Some days the floor is covered in shavings and other days we are just packing things up to send out. We’ve been in Panchwati for a bit now and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s got a good feel to it. People sometimes wander in just to see what we are making. We don't mind, though we are usually right in the middle of something. The tools we use are old but they still work fine. We don't see the point in replacing something that isn't broken. Every piece we make has its own little quirks. That is just what happens when you don't use big machines for everything. We just take our time and finish one thing before starting the next. It is a slow way to work but it’s the only way we know how to do it. We might not be the fastest workers, but the items we finish are something we actually worked on ourselves.
