You can find us at The Idea Apartment, 14 A-1, in New Fathehpura, Udaipur. We are specifically in flats 2 and 3. It might seem strange to have a marble business based in an apartment, but it works for us. We use the space to handle all the paperwork and meet with people who are looking for good stone. Udaipur is famous for its marble, so we are right in the heart of things here. The office is simple, with some samples lying around so people can see the quality of what we are dealing with. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights, just a place where we do business. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on orders. The neighborhood of New Fathehpura is pretty decent and easy to reach. Sometimes we are out at the sites and other times we are stuck here doing the accounts. It is a bit of a juggle, but that is how it goes when you run a small business. We have been in these flats for a while now. People know us as the marble guys in the building. We don't really do much marketing, mostly people find us through word of mouth or by just coming to the address. It’s a plain and honest way to work. We just focus on the marble and make sure the deliveries are actually happening when they are supposed to.
